Conventional Presses
GHP has four sheetfed presses ranging from four-color to six-color configurations, with in-line aqueous coating and perfecting capabilities. Our presses print from 11” x 17” up to 28” x 41 ½” sheet size on paper up to 24 pt. and we accommodate most commercial sheet-fed work.
Small format
GHP’s four small format presses handle one and two color letterheads, forms, business cards and envelopes.
Computer-to Plate
The Fuji Javelin is the heart of our digital workflow operation. Additionally, the latest PostScript RIPs, “Turbo Screening”, and Stochastic capabilities provide for smoother vignettes as well as better resolution of highlights and pastels.
Digital Printing
GHP’s six-color small-format HP Indigo Press prints an image area of 12.4” x 18” on a 13” x 19” sheet. The Indigo is ideal for short press runs (typically up to 1500 12” x 18” sheets printed one-side, or 700 sheets printed two-sides) and is more cost effective than conventional sheet-fed offset printing when small quantities or variable data are involved. The press prints on both coated and uncoated stocks, as well as vinyl, with outstanding ink holdout. Its liquid ink offsets from a blanket to the sheet surface and transfers the image. Variable text and image data may be printed on each sheet at low cost and high quality. Print examples include:
- 4-page brochures—11” x 17” flat, 8 ½ “ x 11” folded
- Sell sheets– 8 ½” x 11” flat
- Post cards—4” x 6” or 5” x 7” flat
- Business cards—2” x 3 ½ “ flat (21 up per press sheet)
- Posters—11” x 17”
- Image area 12.4” x18”
- Paper up to 16 pt.
